Although theoretically, Wellbutrin (Zyban) may increase Dopamine by preventing it's reuptake (reabsorption/removal) - the many benefits can be outweighed by it's ''off-points'' - which is why it isn't my recommendation of Choice.
It's still a better choice than many other anti-depressants though, for Depression , and especially effective at treating Seasonal Episodes of Depression. It has also been reported to be useful in treating both idiopathic (unknown cause) and drug-induced (such as SSRI or antihistamine) Anhedonia (lack of pleasure and emotions).
