There was this nice article, that also shows that blood plasma hormone levels dont exactly match what is measured in CSF.

But cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) doesn't necessarily indicate active neurotransmitters either, in fact, its more of a tell in autopsies because its more a reflection of something accumulating AFTER plasma. That means that any neurotransmitter, hormone or drug will be evaluated in plasma before the same concentration can be measured in CSF. Therefore CSF has more variables than plasma values do.
